| Himalayas² I was in Nepal, in the Everest region, for the first time in March 2006. Not to go mountain climbing, but rather, to go hiking. It was a trip into a completely different and strange world. The magnificent landscape, the kindness of the people and the culture fascinated me. Since then I am "Himalyas infected": I travelled to the Annapurna region to hike twice in Fall 2006, in Febuary 2007 I took part in a friends' Hindu wedding in Katmandu, and in September 2007 I climbed Lakpu Ri (7.045m) to Tibet.
