The Waldhof² is peacefully situated on the edge of Foiana, at the gates of Merano, in the heart of the popular Merano region, surrounded by woodland, meadows, hills and mountains.
Our village is part of the municipality of Lana and is located at 690 m above sea level. With just 800 inhabitants, it is a very small village with much charm, sitting amidst the greenery of the countryside. Tranquillity and seclusion, as well as the clear air of a healthy climate location make the invitation to unhurried strolls and extended hikes in and around Foiana.
By car you can be at the valley station of the Vigiljoch cable car in just 10 minutes, which will take you to an extensive hiking and skiing area, and you only need just as long to reach the popular golf course in Lana.
To visit the beautiful spa town of Merano or South Tyrol’s provincial capital Bolzano, you will need 20 or 30 minutes by car. Here, countless artistic and cultural events present themselves to you, as well as appealing shopping and promenading opportunities.
